I recently was part of a trip to Kodiak, Alaska, in pursuit of Silver Salmon. This place is truly amazing beyond words.

Ain’t no grave…

Mt. Saint Helens in Washington

Glacier Bay

I’ll take this one…

One of my favorite shots of the trip, Carlo is half man and half fish, seriously.

Our local Kodiak connection – Red – in his element out back in the greenhouse/fishing shed/aspiring motorcycle locker.

After combating wind and rain for two days, we all felt abit like this.

Things the Wests find on the road – held to the wall by a lewer.

Awesome Jack London collection.

Kodiak Brew Co. Amen.

Following are some images from a trip we took up Pillar Mountain.

I’ve been to Ketchican Alaska a few times once for Silvers, another for Kings and Halibut! Best trips of my life. Alaska in my opinion is one of the most beautiful places in the world, it’s truly the last frontier! Glad you were able to experience it Dougie!
